  • California Department of Social Services
The webpage ​provides the California County 24-Hour Emergency Response Child Abuse Reporting Telephone Numbers and explains the reporting process.
  • Family Justice Center Alliance
Supports Family Justice Centers worldwide that help adults and children impacted by family violence. Through this website, you can find a center and services near you and access professional trainings.

The California Family Justice Network provides resources, including links to a California Family Justice Center near you.
  • Sacramento Regional Family Justice Center
​The Sacramento Regional Family Justice Center serves the greater Sacramento area and offers diverse services for families.
  • Family Violence Appellate Project
The Family Violence Appellate Project appeals dangerous domestic violence trial court decisions for free in California and Washington and offers a free online law library.
  • ​Your District Attorney’s Office
​Your local District Attorney’s Office website will give you access to local Victims Services from the California Victim Compensation Board. Example: Los Angeles County

The California District Attorneys Association website resources include a Legislative Digest that lists new laws by code, including laws that will impact child protection.

​The California Victim Compensation Board website explains financial assistance available to victims of crime.
  • California Attorney General
The California Attorney General’s website offers resources, including help for victims of crimes, Bureau of Children’s Justice resources on child safety laws, information on registered sex offenders, and new gun violence prevention laws that protect families.

The Children Now website connects you to their vast research and advocacy work to promote pro-child policies and funding. It connects to the Children’s Movement of California, where members directly advocate for policy change.
